The Jungle Safari in Ranthambore National Park entry & exit timing changes as per the season, if it is the summer or the winter season. As we know winters are known for shortened daylight hours while there are long daylight hours during the summers, and the daylight hours are longer. In the summer, the park opens later and closes late. Daytime jungle tours start from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, while evening tours start from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Timings may shift slightly from season to season. Details are provided in the table below.

Impact on Zones: The forest of Ranthambore is separated into 10 different zones for safari. Every year between October 1 and June 30, visitors can explore all 10 Ranthambore National Park safari zones in search of exotic species. But even in monsoon (July to September), 6 to 10 zones of the park are open for guests for jungle safari.
Impact of sunrise and sunset: It is possible to go on a jungle safari in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve twice a day, once in the morning and once in the late afternoon.. Typically, the park opens for the morning safari an hour after sunrise and closes for the afternoon safari an hour before sunset. As a result, a single jungle safari at Ranthambore typically lasts between 3.5 and 4 hours.
Between October 1 and June 30, visitors can go on a jungle safari in any of Ranthambore National Park's tourist zones. Between July and September, the park is closed to the public because of the rainy season, however, tourists can go on safari in Zones 6 through 10 during this time. Ranthambore National Park is a great place to go on a wildlife safari any time of year, but it is stunning during the monsoon.
During the monsoon, a jungle safari in Ranthambore may only be scheduled in advance and is dependent on the weather. As a result, we can cancel Safari on any given day / Shift for reasons including but not limited to adverse weather, unsafe track conditions, or administrative reasons. If this happens, you'll get a full refund of your safari payment but not any additional travel expenses, lost items, or compensation of any kind.
Sawai Madhopur district in south-eastern Rajasthan is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Ranthambore experiences summer, winter, and the annual monsoon. Ranthambore National Park features the hottest months from March to June, during which most animals are seen when they come out in quest of water. Traveling to Ranthambore, however, is more pleasant in the preceding cooler months. If you are visiting Ranthambore during winter, then bring warm clothes.
Summer: The months of March through June make up Ranthambore's summer season. During the summer, Ranthambore can reach a high of 48 degrees Celsius. The daytime highs can reach 40 degrees Celsius, and the overnight lows can dip below 30 degrees Celsius.
Winters: Ranthambore's chilly season begins in November and continues until February. In the dead of winter, daytime highs can reach 20 degrees Celsius while overnight lows can dip to below 10 degrees Celsius. Rain and fog are anticipated in mid-winter. It gets really chilly early in the morning at Ranthambore National Park during the winter.
Monsoon: Ranthambore enjoys a monsoon season from July to September. There is constant moisture in the air, and it rains about twice a week. Moreover, visitors can visit Ranthambore even while it's raining. The safari from zones 6-10 is run by the forest service, while zones 1-5 are off-limits to visitors until the end of the monsoon season (which is on October 1). If you are going on a trip to Ranthambore in the monsoon then light cotton garments and some rain gear are recommended. It's wise to always have some insect repellent on the body.

Weekends and holidays saw an increase in visitors to Ranthambore, making advanced reservations for safaris and lodgings a necessity. Ranthambore National Park is open for safaris year-round, however, many believe the months of November through April to be ideal.
